Recently, the intelligent welding workstation for the separator rotor built by Sinoma Zibo Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (now referred to as Sinoma Zibo) with self-raised funds of more than 1.6 million yuan and the newly installed CH61100-4 turning and milling center with self-raised funds of more than 2 million yuan were successfully debugged, showing that Sinoma Zibo has taken a solid step in realizing the intelligence of equipment.

The background for this upgrade was to meet the needs of automated welding of separator rotors and intelligent processing of separator spindles. The company’s Contract Execution Department conducted in-depth research and decided to build an intelligent welding workstation for separator rotors and a new CH61100-4 turning and milling center equipment based on the characteristics of manufacturing processes and intelligent control technology.

The rotor intelligent welding workstation has highly flexible and adaptive functions and is suitable for welding and forming single-piece, small-batch, and multi-variety rotor blades. Its processing range: diameter Ø1500-Ø6000mm, rotor height within 3500mm, blade spacing above 50mm, and rotor mass below 15 tons. The user only needs to try to teach a single rotor blade, and the system will automatically perform the welding task of all blades. At the same time, for assembly errors between blades, the system can perform intelligent deviation corrections to ensure the consistency and stability of welding quality. In the field of building materials equipment manufacturing, the automatic welding of separator rotors is the first time, which is of great significance to the technical development of the rotor automatic welding subdivision field.

CH61100-4 turning and milling center

CH61100-4 turning and milling center is a X, Y, Z, and C four-coordinate continuous control CNC lathe designed mainly for semi-finishing and finishing of shaft and disc parts. In addition to interpolating straight lines, oblique lines, arcs (turning cylindrical surfaces, revolving surfaces, spherical surfaces, conical surfaces), and turning straight and conical metric and imperial threads, it also can mill external circles, end faces, keyways, and drill radial and axial holes. It can turn disc parts with a diameter of Φ1000mm and shaft parts with a diameter of Φ900mm and a length of less than 6000mm. It is suitable for processing various discs, sleeves, and shaft parts with complex shapes and high precision. The successful commissioning and operation of this machine tool will greatly improve the processing efficiency and processing accuracy of shaft parts, laying a solid foundation for the company to achieve the goal of intelligent equipment and sustainable development.
