The machining process of girth gears includes the following steps: gear blank machining, tooth surface machining, heat treatment process, and tooth surface finishing.
The first step in the machining process of the large gear is that the gear blank enters the machining process. At this time, it is mainly to prepare the basis for the next processing of the tooth shape, so that the accuracy of the inner hole and the end face of the large gear meet the specified technical requirements.
The second step is the machining of the tooth shape, to achieve the specified hardness requirements.
Then there is the finishing of the tooth shape, mainly to make the positioning reliable, and the distribution of the allowance is relatively uniform, to achieve the purpose of finishing.
