Clinker grinding process

Open-circuit grinding process: After the material passes through the mill, it is the product. The process is simple, the equipment is less, and the investment is less, but the phenomenon of over-grinding is easy to occur.

Closed-circuit grinding process: After the material is milled, the product is selected by the powder separator system, and the coarse powder is returned to the mill for regrinding. Reducing the phenomenon of over-grinding can increase the output, and reduce power consumption, and the product fineness is easy to control, but the system equipment investment is large, and the operation and maintenance are more complicated.

A ball mill grinding plant is a grinding system that uses a ball mill alone as the main grinding equipment to achieve the grinding effect. The equipment used mainly includes the cement ball mill, the O-Sepa separator, the dust collector, and fans. The ground material from the ball mills is classified by the O-Sepa separator. The fine powders are collected by the dust collector for packaging. The coarse ones are sent back to the ball mill for further grinding. The manufacturing process is easier, and less grinding equipment and maintenance are needed for the grinding system. But the power consumption is higher.

Roller press and ball mill combined grinding system

The system mainly contains a roller press, a V-type classifier, a cyclone dust collector, a ball mill, and an O-Sepa separator. The combined grinding system is a closed circuit system. It is widely used because the pre-grind effect of the roller press is proven. The process is relatively complex and needs high investment in equipment and civil works. In addition, the number of fans is large, which increases the power consumption of the system.
